Bavubuka Foundation

Reclaiming Spaces For Authentic Expressions.

Bavubuka creates spaces where young people can gain new skills, bring their ideas to life and build relationships that connect them to their communities and the world.

We believe that when young people are given space, resources, education and the freedom to express themselves, they have the power to build stronger communities and shape their own futures.

Our Purpose

Amplifying and Creating a Powerful Awakening of the Youth Voice.

Young People Are Not Waiting for the Future. They Are Building It.

Bavubuka Foundation is a youth and community development movement rooted in Uganda and growing across Canada and the global African diaspora.

Since 2005, Bavubuka has created opportunities for young people to discover their voices through music, arts, culture, education, sport, entrepreneurship and community building.

Create the space. Provide the resources. Share knowledge. Let young people build.
Foundation

Creating Space for the Next Generation.

Bavubuka creates spaces and educational programs that nurture and empower young people to discover their voices, develop their skills and use their gifts to strengthen their communities.

Our programs may take different forms, but they share one purpose: giving young people meaningful opportunities to learn, create, connect and lead.
