Bavubuka Foundation

The foundation of sports and health movement that aims to educate, restore, build, and encourage youth through their passion of sports, music, art and dance

Working to increase the wellbeing of Ugandan youth through sports activities, as an important part of their physical and mental development. Whilst also providing a holistic approach to advocacy through arts and music, sports, and inspirational workshops

Bavubuka All*sports is founded on the belief that group sports promote cooperation, improve health, develop self confidence and provide much-needed leisure time for disadvantaged youth. In poverty stricken ghettos and war-torn regions, children have little access to what UNESCO calls the right to recreation.

Bavubuka All*sports!

During the first two years Bavubuka All*sports program fund- raised over 1200 pounds of gear for sports including basket- ball, soccer (european football), boxing and Badminton. these donations were shipped to Uganda and distributed as training equipment to teams and players throughout the country who were identified by their strong work ethic. It is incredibly diffi- cult for most Ugandan’s to support their children in recreation- al activities due to the difficult economic situation. Bavubuka All*sports maintains strong relationships with the people who struggle to facilitate entire teams of young athletes.

GOALS & ASPIRATIONS

Beyond continuing to bring sports equipment to Uganda we hope to attract more coaches, players and enthusiasts that will dedicate time to running camps as well as building relationships that will empower the youth. Many children are inspired to see outside vol- unteers (particularly successful ones) who are committed to help- ing them succeed in their challenging environments.

We hope to create our own league, which will require committed financial support from independent and commercial sponsors. It is our continued commitment and dedication to raise our fundrais- ing impact to bring about the success of constructing community sports amenities for the youth around East Africa.
